An ancient symbol, the wreath speaks to both the infinitude and cyclicality of existence. Using both traditional and modern techniques, Marita Chustak captures organic forms found in nature and extrapolates them digitally into large mandala-like works, focusing on the unity and universality of matter both here on earth and in the cosmos. She hopes to spur contemplation on the mystery and beauty of existence, and a reverent understanding of our relationship with the world around us.
