Two Bodies

They say that you can’t give what you don’t have. And the only thing that I have, in a sense, is my life, so that is where my art comes from.
In a greater sense, the greatest and only gift I have ever been given is this life and everything in it. And I can’t help but want to explore it as deeply and vastly as I can.

This is why these two vessel bodies are scratched and marred, textured through punches and clawing hands. These vessels represent in a very real and tangible way, my relationship with another human being that I was trying to work through and understand. (see: Revisiting Two Old Pieces)

Read into the body language of the vessels. Read into the gestures, the give and take. That is where the real story is held.
